Need 'Food' Flashcards - 

Display flashcards and share with your child which food YOU like from the list in this lesson: bread, milk, cheese, chocolate, eggs.

““Mi piace il/le ___________.” (I like_________.)

Encourage your child to share which food they like. (If they find it difficult to say the words in Italian, allow them to point to the picture/flashcard.)

Older Children (4 and older)
Encourage your child to repeat after you:
“Mi piace il pane.” (I like bread.) 
“Mi piace il latte.” (I like milk.)
“Mi piace il formaggio.” (I like cheese.) 
“Mi piace il cioccolato.” (I like chocolate.) 
“Mi piace le uova.” (I like eggs.)

Younger Children (under 4 years)
Your child can simply repeat the food name after you.
